PARKINGHollyhock House is located at the top of the hill in Barnsdall Art Park. Parking is free but limited and can be found in Barnsdall Park at the top and the bottom of the hill. Visitors may park along the perimeter road that loops that upper part of the park. Additionally, parking is located directly to the left from the main park entrance on Hollywood Boulevard. Please use the stairs on the east end to make your way to the top of the hill. Docents are on hand to provide information and answer questions.
Due to the ever-changing health and safety guidelines and the small, intimate nature of the museum, all policies will be re-evaluated on a regular basis and updated as needed. In March 1954, Clarence “Buck” Stahl and Carlotta May Gates drove from Los Angeles to Las Vegas and got married in a chapel. Docents are stationed around the museum on all of our self-guided tour days, eager to take questions and engage in dialogue with visitors.
